For students

For the 2025–2026 school year, the Education Department of Diakriton, as part of its educational initiatives, will offer the following educational programs to the school community. These programs are aimed at students of primary and secondary education.

Duration: approximately 1 hour 

Program fee per person: €4.50
Participation: up to 25 students (one class per program)

Our suggestion:
Combine your visit to our Collections with a walk through the small settlement of Vathypetro, at the foot of Mount Juktas. Here, an important Minoan villa with palatial architectural features has been excavated. You can also see a wine press, olive press, and pottery workshop with a ceramic kiln.

Alternatively, you may enjoy a stroll on Fourni Hill—a lush, green hill with beautiful views. In addition to its archaeological significance, it offers a lovely wooded area with benches and tables, ideal for a short excursion and relaxation.
